A great opportunity to promoting business
The Swedish Iraqi Chamber of Commerce in Scandinavia together with the Swedish Trade Counciland the Ministry for Foreign Affairs cordially held the first high-level Swedish-Iraqibusiness and investment conference on October 8-9 in Stockholm, Sweden. Theconference had been hosted by Swedish Minister for Trade Dr. Ewa Björling.
The conference had been a forum for meeting with high-level representatives from the major industrialsectors in Iraq. The conference aimd to give company representatives an understanding ofbusiness opportunities and giving them the opportunity to meet with key players on the Iraqi market.
Incoming business delegation from Iraq
There were a large and prominent business delegation who attend the conference. for example:
- Ministers and representatives from the ministries of Trade, Transportation, Industry and Minerals, Health, Electricity and from the National Investment Commission.
- Prominent businessmen from state and private companies
- Decision makers from a number of Governorates
Who attend the conference?
- Swedish companies which were interested in entering the Iraqi market
- Companies already doing business in Iraq wanting to get closer to business deals or explore further business opportunities
- Company representatives wanting to expand their network through interacting with the members of the incoming delegation
